Job Description:

Join Aspirus Stevens Point in the Med Surg Intermediate Care Unit for a 13-week travel assignment as an IMC RN. This role offers the chance to work in a well-equipped unit managing a variety of patients including those with sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, and post-surgical cases. Expect to float to inpatient units as needed, with opportunities to handle complex cases like chest tubes, spinal injuries, and stroke. The schedule features 12-hour night shifts on a rotation basis, providing a rhythm that balances work and rest. You'll need at least two years of experience in Stepdown, Intermediate Care, or PCU, and current WI or compact RN certification with BLS and ACLS certifications. The environment rewards resilience and independence, with a focus on efficient task management in a fast-paced setting. Epic charting experience is preferred, and flexibility to manage a range of patient needs is essential. This assignment includes a mix of working independently, adapting to change, and contributing to a steady patient flow in a supportive team.
