Job Description:

Join a fast-paced hospital unit in Omaha, Nebraska, where you will be working 12-hour night shifts supporting adult and geriatric patients with diverse needs such as cardiac issues, nephrology, strokes, and diabetes. This contract offers an opportunity to hone your critical thinking and problem-solving skills while managing complex titratable drips like Cardizem and seizure medications. You'll be part of a dedicated team led by charge nurses, working alongside nurse aides and patient care techs to cover a busy unit with a patient ratio of approximately 1:4 or 1:5. The assignment includes a comprehensive onboarding process with unit-specific orientation, and you'll need to pass skills exams during orientation to ensure you're ready for the role. Experience in a fast-paced environment, a positive attitude, and strong communication skills will help you thrive in this setting, where teamwork and critical thinking are valued daily.
