Job Description:

Join a reputable medical-surgical unit as a travel registered nurse and experience a 13-week adventure in Whiteville. This role involves providing comprehensive patient assessments, developing and updating nursing care plans, and collaborating closely with physicians and the healthcare team. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts, overseeing patients with a variety of diagnoses such as orthopedic, urology, bariatric, medical, and surgical conditions. You’ll also support the care of patients with COPD, pneumonia, stroke, and COVID-19, among others. The unit operates with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 6:1, and you will be supported by team members including CNAs, a unit secretary, resource nurses, and more.
