Job Description:

This travel contract places you in the Medical Respiratory Unit of a busy hospital, where you will be providing specialized care to patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions. You'll work on a 42-bed unit focused on pneumonia, COPD, and other lung diseases, occasionally caring for medical patients with GI issues, diabetes, and stroke recovery. With a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio, you'll perform assessments, monitor ventilated patients, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team during your shifts. The role offers a unique chance to float between units and hospitals as needed, embracing variety and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
