Job Description:

This critical care RN role involves caring for ventilated patients in a combined ICU and progressive care unit, where you'll handle both advanced and less acute cases. Expect to manage patients with sepsis, respiratory failure, renal issues, myocardial infarctions, pulmonary embolism, and pneumonia, often working with a mix of ICU and progressive patients. Your day will include initiating and titrating IV drips, assisting with intubations, monitoring with Phillips heart monitors, and documenting in Epic. This position offers a steady rhythm with three 12-hour shifts per week, combining weekday and weekend rotations, often working alongside a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. You'll refine your skills in a supportive environment that values critical thinking, flexibility, and teamwork, all while providing essential care in a 24-bed ICU and a 12-bed progressive care unit.
