Job Description:
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department Transition Care Unit (TCU) at a busy Level I Trauma Center in Roanoke, Virginia. This contract offers a unique chance to work 3x12-hour day shifts, from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, in a fast-paced environment that bridges emergency care and inpatient admissions. You will be responsible for monitoring cardiac rhythms, managing IV lines and medications, and providing respiratory support—all while swiftly coordinating patient transfers and maintaining accurate documentation in Epic. This role is perfect for nurses comfortable with floating within their skill set and who thrive in a collaborative setting that keeps the pulse of critical care running smoothly. Experience managing cardiac telemetry, rapid response protocols, and complex medication protocols will serve you well in this pivotal role over a 13-week assignment.
