Job Description:

Join our team as an Anesthesia RN at Aspirus Wausau Hospital for a 13-week travel assignment focused on supporting cardiac and general surgeries. This role involves circulating in the operating room across all specialties, with a primary focus on the cardiothoracic program. You will assist anesthesia providers with intubations, fiber optic scopes, arterial and central line placements, and other critical procedures. This position offers exposure to a variety of complex cases, including heart surgeries and traumas, and requires strong OR and CVOR circulating experience. The shift is Monday through Friday with 8-hour day shifts, and you’ll be scheduled for 40 guaranteed hours weekly. Expect to engage in call duties one night per week, one weekend per month, and a backup shift, with response times as quick as 30 minutes, necessitating the use of a vehicle. This assignment demands a resilient, flexible, and detail-oriented professional with at least three years of anesthesia experience, prior travel experience, and current WI RN license or compact license. Training includes a two-week orientation, and proficiency with Epic, Belmont, and Cell Saver is required.
