Job Description:

Join the team at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center as a Cath Lab Technician for a 13-week travel assignment. In this role, you will support advanced cardiac procedures including TAVR, PFO, Atherectomy, PCI, and more, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment like GE Innova and Impella. Your day will start at 7:00AM, and you'll assist during procedures that require precision and focus, with opportunities to work within different departments such as EP and Stress Lab. This assignment is perfect for experienced professionals eager to work with a dedicated team in a facility that boasts a rich array of cardiac services in a busy hospital setting.

You will perform duties centered around supporting cardiac interventions, ensuring accurate documentation using systems like MacLab and Meditech, and adhering to hospital guidelines. Self-scheduling within the department gives you flexibility, and floating policies enable cross-training across related units. The hospital prioritizes safety and excellence, requiring certifications like ACLS and BLS. Be prepared to work a 12-hour day shift, totaling 36 hours weekly during this engaging and rewarding contract.
