Job Description:

This emergency department contract places you right in the heart of a busy Level 4 trauma center in Prescott Valley, Arizona. You'll be managing a wide variety of cases, from minor trauma and abdominal pain to respiratory distress and acute cardiac events. Expect to work 8-hour days in a fast-paced environment where your critical thinking and quick decision-making will shine. You'll have the opportunity to perform conscious sedation, manage common drips, and utilize your skills in triage and patient assessment. The setting includes separate triage and holding areas, well-equipped seclusion rooms, and a team prepared for anything from routine exams to complex emergencies. With a staff of full-time MDs, mid-level providers, and dedicated techs and paramedics, you'll be part of a cohesive team committed to efficient patient throughput and quality care. This role offers a unique chance to hone your emergency skills amidst a supportive staff, with exposure to diverse patient presentations that will challenge and refine your expertise.
