Job Description:

Join our team in Artesia for a 13-week travel nursing assignment working 12-hour day shifts. This role requires a seasoned RN with at least 3 years of MS-telemetry experience and familiarity with PCU/Stepdown units. You will be responsible for monitoring patients with complex medical conditions, titrating drips like insulin and amiodarone, and interpreting tele strips on Mindray cardiac monitors. The setting presents opportunities to handle very ill patients on drips, invasive monitors, and ventilators, making your skills truly valuable. The hospital is small but equipped with a wide range of capabilities, with a focus on preparing for higher-level designation. Expect to perform patient vitals, ADLs, I/Os, transfers, and provide support for both medical/surgical and PCU patients. While nurses typically do not step into charge roles, they may assist with some responsibilities, while charge nurses manage patient loads. This assignment provides a chance to gain diverse experience in a facility progressing toward Level IV status, with a focus on professional growth and skill utilization.
