Job Description:

Join the Emergency Department team at a well-regarded teaching hospital in Presque Isle, Maine, for an engaging travel nursing assignment. This role involves providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population, from neonates to geriatrics, with a focus on trauma, stroke, STEMI, and behavioral health cases. You’ll be working a 12-hour night shift, gaining valuable experience in a busy ED setting with minimal support staff on duty, including a variety of providers and ED techs. Expect to perform procedures like EKGs, IV starts, nebulizer treatments, and assist with complex cases such as vent management and suture removals. The setting offers a chance to hone your charge experience and work with advanced protocols within a collaborative team, all while enjoying the comforts of a welcoming community atmosphere.
