Job Description:

Join a specialized neurological and medical intermediate unit as a travel Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts, with a focus on managing a patient population that includes neurological and medical intermediate cases. You'll be expected to collaborate closely with your team, adhere to strict call-off policies, and demonstrate a strong teamwork approach. The environment emphasizes efficiency and precision, with a patient census that maxes at 24 and a unit ratio of 1:4. In this assignment, you'll gain valuable experience in telemetry, vents, IV starts, and drips, as well as a chance to work with advanced systems like PYXIS, EPIC, and SBAR. Unique to this role is the self-scheduling opportunity, provided you meet orientation requirements, and the need to pass EKG testing prior to start.
