Job Description:

Join an engaging travel nursing role dedicated to oncology infusion and vascular access procedures. In this assignment, you'll work 8-hour day shifts, primarily from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, including every other weekend. The position emphasizes ambulatory chemo infusions, PICC and midline placements, and venous access with ports, PIVs, and ultrasound-guided techniques. You'll assist with a variety of therapies such as biologics, chemotherapy, blood products, and therapeutic phlebotomies, supporting a team that balances ambulatory care and hospital-based infusion services. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses with PICC and midline experience who are comfortable with complex venous access and infusion therapies. The role includes a biweekly orientation, and a strong emphasis on clinical certification, including chemo and PICC line certifications. Unique to this assignment are pre-onboarding tests that ensure proficiency in ECG, tele, and medication administration, with strict passing criteria and no re-tests. You'll be part of a unit that takes pride in providing specialized infusion care, helping cover shifts in oncology as needed, all while experiencing a busy, rewarding environment.
