Job Description:

This contract position is ideal for skilled Oncology Chemo Certified Registered Nurses eager to specialize in medical-surgical units with a focus on oncology treatments. At this facility, you'll primarily care for adult patients undergoing chemotherapy and biotherapy, managing IV therapies, port access, central lines, and surgical drains within a 42-bed inpatient unit. The role demands expert knowledge of medication administration, including chemotherapy, insulins, Heparin, and blood products, as well as wound care and non-invasive airway management. Shift work is during 12-hour night shifts, providing an excellent opportunity for night owls to shine. Experience in inpatient oncology and med/surg units will help you succeed in this fast-paced environment, where you'll be part of a team that values clinical competence and adaptability.
