Job Description:

Join a rewarding surgical team as an Operating Room Nurse for a contractual assignment in Deming, NM. This role involves working eight-hour days, Monday through Friday, with the added responsibility of being on call up to 15 days per month. You will be integral in preparing the operating room, assisting surgeons during procedures, managing supplies, updating physician preference cards, and ensuring seamless communication with families. This assignment offers a unique chance to work in a busy OR environment, where your expertise in orthopedic, ophthalmologic, and gynecologic surgeries will be valued. You'll collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff, demonstrating leadership and critical thinking while providing top-notch patient care in the surgical setting. Experience in similar specialties and prior travel assignments are essential, as this role supports continued coverage during a staffing transition.
