Job Description:

This respiratory therapy contract invites experienced RTs to step into a varied clinical setting that covers NICU, ICU, stepdown, MedSurg, and small pediatrics units. The role involves performing ABGs, administering breathing treatments, and managing ventilator equipment such as Drager vents, V60/V30 Philips, and Vapotherm. While assisting with intubation and placing LMAs, you will work alongside shift leads and may have the opportunity to take charge if experienced and willing. The assignment offers a full spectrum of adult and pediatric cases, from newborn NICU patients to geriatrics, ensuring a diverse and engaging experience with an average of up to 30 treatments daily depending on the season—a good challenge for RTs who thrive in a fast-paced environment.
