Job Description:

Join a specialized respiratory therapy team in an adult ICU setting, where you'll perform procedures such as airway management, medication administration, ventilator management, ABG draws, oxygen therapy, suctioning, and pulmonary toileting. This role offers the chance to work with advanced equipment like Hamilton G5 and Philips V60 ventilators, providing hands-on experience in critical care. The assignment combines technical expertise with a hospital environment that occasionally extends into trauma, teaching hospital, and emergency room scenarios, including procedures like bronchoscopies. Expect a night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, working four nights a week for a duration of 13 weeks. The position emphasizes independent skillfulness and precision, with a focus on adult patient respiratory diagnostics and support without direct patient care responsibilities.
