Job Description:

This 13-week contract positions you in the inpatient rehabilitation unit as a registered nurse specializing in acute care for neurological and surgical recovery patients. Expect to work three 12-hour night shifts per week, with occasional float to different Cone Health campuses in Greensboro, North Carolina. You'll be responsible for interpreting laboratory results, performing dressing changes with sterile procedures, and managing medication reconciliation. The role offers the chance to gain specialized experience in caring for patients with CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injuries, and other neurological conditions. This assignment is ideal for seasoned RNs comfortable with a fast-paced environment and flexible scheduling, emphasizing attention to detail and critical thinking rather than routine tasks.
