Job Description:

Join our team as an occupational therapist on a 13-week travel assignment at Samaritan Albany General Hospital in Albany, Oregon. In this inpatient acute care role, you'll evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, and ADL needs, providing critical discharge recommendations. Your days will be filled with hands-on assessments and interventions in a lively hospital setting that handles a diverse patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics. The workload involves working 10-hour shifts, five days a week, allowing ample time to make meaningful impacts in patient recovery. This assignment offers the chance to experience the high-energy environment of a level 3 trauma center while honing your skills in both inpatient and outpatient therapies, including hand therapy, orthopedics, neuro, splinting, driving assessments, and ADL training.
