Job Description:

This IR RN role offers the chance to work within a specialized interventional radiology department, focusing on procedures that involve placing lines, tubes, and drains. The position involves pre, post, and intra-procedural patient monitoring, providing hands-on experience in a fast-paced setting with two imaging rooms equipped with Siemens and GE equipment. You'll be performing an average of 4-6 scans or studies daily, with the opportunity to start IVs and support radiologists during procedures. The role includes a pre-scheduled 10-hour days shift, with some flexibility in self-scheduling, and requires adherence to department-specific orientation and dress code. This assignment is unique because it combines technical RN duties with a collaborative radiology environment, all supporting an experienced radiology team without the need to float to other areas or cover additional shifts.
