Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract offers an exciting opportunity for qualified professionals with over five years of experience, including at least one prior travel assignment. The role requires proficiency in Meditech and TNCC, along with certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS or NIHSS. Working in an emergency department that handles approximately 180-200 visits daily, you will be involved in managing a range of cases from pediatrics to geriatrics, including trauma, neuro, and orthopedic patients. The candidate must be comfortable with a 6-bed behavioral lockdown area staffed by psych professionals. Expect to work 12-hour mids shifts, with a weekly commitment of 36 hours over a duration of 17 weeks. The setting demands attention to safety protocols, efficient use of EMR, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, paramedics, security staff, and physicians. The environment provides an engaging experience in a busy ER, where your expertise will contribute to the seamless flow of patient care and safety.
