Job Description:

This role offers the opportunity to work in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) with a busy and challenging environment filled with critically ill or surgical pediatric patients. As a travel healthcare professional, you'll be providing specialized pediatric care on 12-hour night shifts, ensuring each child receives attentive and precise care. The position emphasizes a 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, and a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required. You'll need your NYS license and certifications such as BLS and PALS to be ready for this assignment. The unit offers a friendly, traveler-oriented atmosphere with frequent opportunities for extension, making it a dynamic and rewarding experience that balances professional growth with engaging patient interactions.
