Job Description:

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Oncology Acute department, working 12-hour night shifts for a 13-week contract in Peoria, Illinois. This role offers the chance to specialize in caring for patients with various types of cancer, including lymphoma and leukemia, along with hematology and radiation oncology cases. You'll be handling IV chemotherapy and immunotherapy regimens, monitoring side effects, and managing patients with complex treatment plans. The environment provides an opportunity to utilize your expertise in chemotherapy administration, operate alongside a dedicated charge nurse and house supervisor, and collaborate with experienced PCTs. The unit is equipped with telemetry monitoring and support for respiratory equipment, with a focus on providing safe, efficient patient care in a private bed setting. Expect to contribute to a high-functioning team, participate in unit float rotations, and experience a setting where your skills directly impact patient outcomes.
