Job Description:

Join a hospital-based surgical team as a travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in New Braunfels, Texas. You will be supporting various service lines including general surgery, urology, gynecology, vascular, orthopedic, neurological, robotics, reconstructive plastics, podiatry, and cardiovascular cases. The role involves working eight-hour shifts across multiple schedules—morning, midday, or late evening—providing routine and complex perioperative nursing care in a setting that values independence and clinical expertise. This is a fantastic opportunity to hone your skills in a hospital environment with minimal pediatrics and a focus on GI cases, especially since there is no dedicated GI team. Expect to work with EPIC electronic medical records, administer medications, monitor patient responses, and provide education to patients and families. Your experience in similar surgical settings and your ability to adapt to different shift demands will be key to your success in this role.
