Job Description:

Join a specialty interventional radiology (IR) nursing role in Phoenix, where you'll be working closely with patients undergoing a variety of IR procedures in five dedicated angio rooms and imaging suites. This position suits RNs with pre-op/PACU and ICU experience who are comfortable managing post-procedure recovery, including patients under conscious sedation or general anesthesia. You’ll coordinate with a team that includes IR techs, CT, Nuclear medicine, and US techs, ensuring smooth patient flow from preparation through recovery. Expect a mix of outpatient and inpatient cases, mainly body IR procedures such as chemo embolization, Y-90 therapies, vascular access, biopsies, and neuro endovascular treatments, with no neuro endovascular work involved. The shift structure features 10-hour days, Monday through Friday, providing a balanced work week. This assignment offers an engaging opportunity to focus on high-level IR patient care in a fast-paced environment that values clinical expertise and teamwork.
