Job Description:

Join us as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Augusta, Maine. In this role, you'll perform MRI scans by reviewing patient histories and physician's orders, ensuring each procedure aligns with established standards. You'll educate patients about their imaging procedures, prepare contrast media when necessary, and continually monitor their condition during exams. The position involves selecting appropriate imaging settings, implementing safety protocols, troubleshooting equipment issues, and analyzing the quality of scanned images to deliver clear, diagnostic results. This assignment offers a hands-on, technical experience in a busy imaging department, providing a satisfying blend of technical precision and patient interaction.
