Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a Respiratory Therapy Specialist on a 13-week contract in Newark, NY. This role involves providing advanced respiratory support in both long-term care and acute care settings, often maneuvering through ventilator management and airway procedures. You'll be working 12-hour day shifts (6:30 AM to 7:00 PM) with six weekend shifts included, and floating between facilities as needed—making this a versatile and engaging assignment for those who thrive on variety. You'll be responsible for tasks such as intubation, extubation, tracheostomy care, and ventilator troubleshooting, all while collaborating with a skilled healthcare team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to hone your skills in adult critical care with a focus on pulmonary diagnostics and respiratory management, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment like Hamilton Vent and Servo-U ventilators.
