Job Description:

Join a bustling Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department at a premier Academic Medical Center in Winston-Salem. As an experienced RN with at least two years in a fast-paced trauma environment, you will be vital in managing a diverse caseload that includes complex trauma, stroke, STEMI, burns, and critical emergencies. The unit is currently under renovation, but it remains a hub for high-acuity cases, including multi-trauma, gunshot wounds, and overdoses. Your role will involve leading respiratory management, assisting in conscious sedations, and working closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes ED Techs, paramedics, and physicians. Expect a challenging but rewarding environment where your clinical decision-making and compassionate care truly make a difference. The shift is 12-hour nights, providing a steady rhythm amid the excitement.
