Job Description:

Join this advanced trauma center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, for a 13-week contract as a registered nurse in the emergency department. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment where you'll handle a variety of critical cases, including trauma, stroke, STEMI, burn, and overdoses. The shift is 12 hours overnight, providing a unique opportunity to experience the hospital's nocturnal rhythm and develop your skills during these quieter hours when complex cases often arrive. You'll be expected to manage patient loads with ratios up to 6:1, use evidence-based practices, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team that includes ED techs, pharmacists, specialists, and support staff.
