Job Description:

Join our team as a Histology Technologist on a 13-week contract based on the beautiful MUSC Charleston campus. In this role, you'll be performing routine and complex histologic procedures such as embedding, microtomy, special stains, and immunohistochemistry. Your attention to detail will ensure quality control on slides and help identify potential issues that could impact diagnosis. Expect to work the night shift, Sunday through Thursday, from 11 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with occasional holiday rotations and some weekend requirements. This assignment offers the opportunity to work in a prestigious teaching hospital, with no floating required and slots for local professionals with 3-5 years of full-time experience in histology. Your expertise in embedding and microtomy will shine here, and certifications like HT(ASCP) or HTL(ASCP) are required.
