Job Description:

Join a 65-bed Emergency Department in Salem for a 13-week travel assignment as an RN on the night shift. This role offers an engaging opportunity to work within a pod-based environment that includes dedicated pediatric and mental health areas. You'll be responsible for assessing, documenting, and managing patients with diverse emergency needs, utilizing skills such as IV placement, EKG monitoring, point-of-care testing, and splinting. The shift runs 12 hours overnight, providing a quiet yet fast-paced setting where critical thinking is essential. Traveling nurses will appreciate the chance to hone their clinical skills while contributing to a team that handles approximately 230 visits daily. The department values experienced nurses with at least 2 years of emergency nursing, certified in BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with NRP and TNCC preferred.
