Job Description:

Join us for an engaging 13-week contract as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) in Harrisburg, Illinois. You'll work a 12-hour night shift from 6p to 6a, supporting laboratory operations during overnight hours. Your responsibilities will include collecting, processing, and analyzing a variety of biological specimens such as blood, urine, fecal, and body fluids across all departments of the clinical lab. While no weekend work is required, there may be occasional calls if needed, and familiarity with analyzers like Abbott Alinity, ACL Tops 350, Gene Expert, Beckman Coulter, Torch, and Clinitek will be beneficial. Your role focuses on performing complex lab procedures, troubleshooting technical issues, evaluating new techniques, and ensuring quality control standards are upheld. This assignment offers a unique chance to experience a critical component of healthcare delivery, honing your technical expertise in a fast-paced lab setting.
