Job Description:

Join a fast-paced Cardiovascular ICU as a Registered Nurse on a 13-week travel contract in Omaha, Nebraska. This role involves providing specialized care to high-acuity cardiac patients, including those with ventricular assist devices, ECMO, and post-transplant status. Expect to float frequently within the units, including Neuro, Trauma, and Observation, adapting to staffing needs across multiple specialty areas. The position requires working 12-hour day shifts, with the opportunity to choose a 36- or 48-hour workweek. This assignment offers an engaging environment where your expertise directly impacts complex patient cases, with comprehensive charting via EPIC and drips administered on all floors. Be prepared for a dynamic schedule that includes working two out of four weekends and two major holidays. This role is ideal for experienced RNs with a minimum of two years at a large, urban hospital who enjoy a lively, challenging setting and thrive in collaborative teams including care techs, transport personnel, swoop/paramedics, and LPNs.
