Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment places you on the Acute Rehab Unit, where you'll be part of a dedicated team supporting patients recovering from neurological events, surgeries, or trauma. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts, providing nursing care tailored to complex medical needs such as neuro conditions, amputations, and multitrauma cases. The role involves monitoring patients' neurological status, reading strips, and collaborating with PT, OT, and SLP teams to ensure comprehensive rehabilitation progress. This assignment offers a unique chance to sharpen your neuro skills in a fast-paced rehab setting, with the opportunity to float to other units like LTAC or med-surg if trained, enhancing your versatility as a nurse. You'll also participate in team conferences and learn specific rehab documentation protocols, making this role both challenging and rewarding.
