Job Description:

This travel assignment is for a skilled surgical technologist specializing in orthopedics and neurosurgery, working within an OR department that boasts a family-oriented atmosphere. You'll be assisting in approximately 25-30 cases daily, including total joints, sports medicine, arthroscopies, neuro-spinal fusions, and cervical and lumbar procedures—no awake neuro cases here. The role requires proficiency in orthopedic, neuro, and robotic surgical procedures like Davinci Xi and ION Robot, with a focus on ensuring smooth, efficient operative environments. You'll work rotating 8-hour shifts with a mix of day and evening hours, including weekend rotations, and be part of a team led by Charge Nurses across all shifts. Floats to cross-train in ortho cases or serve as a 1:1 sitter are expected, with training provided. The setting offers a supportive team environment where your expertise will help deliver exceptional surgical outcomes.
