Job Description:

This surgical technician role offers a unique opportunity to work in a high-volume operating room focusing on complex liver transplants and a variety of large open belly cases. You will be scrubbed in during 12-hour night shifts, assisting with procedures such as general surgery, urology, thoracic, gynecology, plastics, Whipple, liver resections, and free flap surgeries. Your expertise in aseptic technique and familiarity with specialized equipment like the DaVinci XI robotic system will be essential. Expect to handle around 35 cases daily and participate in a supportive team environment, contributing to missions that require both skill and precision. The position's call requirements will keep your schedule dynamic, with 40-60 hours of call over six weeks, including holidays. This assignment is a chance to showcase your surgical skills in a fast-paced setting while gaining exposure to cutting-edge procedures.
