Job Description:

This cardiac telemetry RN position offers the chance to work in a specialized Post Cardiac Cath Unit, focusing on pre and post-angiography patients. You will manage arterial and venous sheaths, monitor TR bands, and assist with devices like pacemakers and defibrillators. The role involves discharging patients within 24-48 hours post-procedure, with some patients transferred or set up for surgery depending on their condition. The environment involves handling a range of cardiac diagnoses, utilizing specific equipment such as drips like Nitroglycerin and Heparin, and performing tasks like blood draws and port management. This assignment combines technical expertise with rapid patient turnover, making every shift both challenging and rewarding.
