Job Description:

Join our team at Central Maine Medical Center for an engaging RN contract in the CVICU, where you'll be integral to caring for adult and geriatric patients recovering from complex cardiac surgeries and critical conditions. This 13-week assignment offers an opportunity to work in a 20-bed unit equipped with advanced technology such as Impella, balloon pumps, and ECMO, providing a hands-on experience in managing high-acuity cases, including post-op cardiac procedures, heart failure, sepsis, and multi-system failure. Your role will involve six of your hours each day on 12-hour day shifts, with flexibility to float across ICU, MS, Tele, and ER units as needed. Expect to collaborate with a skilled team in a setting that values safety and precision—your skills in managing critical patients will truly shine here.

Job Specifics:

Location: Lewiston, Maine
Shift: 12-hour days
Duration: 13 weeks, with a total of 36 hours per week. The schedule includes working three weekends during each 6-week block, with no call requirements and a guaranteed weekly hours of 36.
