Job Description:

This contract position calls for a seasoned ER Registered Nurse with at least two years of emergency department experience, ready to step into a fast-paced, high-energy environment. You’ll be involved in a wide range of procedures, from interpreting dysrhythmias and managing multisystem organ failure to obtaining 12-lead EKGs and administering emergency medications. The role entails managing trauma cases, including gunshot wounds and traumatic amputations, as well as handling psychiatric emergencies and working with complex medical conditions such as neuro-trauma, spinal injuries, and respiratory illnesses. The nights are quiet enough to focus but busy enough to keep you engaged—exactly what you need if you thrive on both challenge and variety. Your expertise will help stabilize patients through both routine and critical care interventions, including managing IV vasopressors, starting IVs, and applying splints, all while working within a supportive team that values your skills. Expect to use Epic charting and wear navy scrubs—or your favorite superhero helmet if you prefer—to bring a touch of individuality to your shifts. This assignment promises not only professional growth but also exposure to a diverse patient population in a setting where your quick thinking makes all the difference.
