Job Description:

Join a specialized perioperative team at Mission Hospital's CV PreOp unit in Asheville, North Carolina, where you'll be instrumental in preparing patients for cardiac surgeries in a state-of-the-art setting. This 13-week contract involves 12-hour day shifts, providing ample opportunity to hone your skills in a high-acuity environment. Your responsibilities will include performing large-bore IV starts, hair removal, medication administration, skin assessments, and assisting with arterial line, central line, and epidural placements. You'll also transport patients to the OR and support anesthesia induction and positioning. This role offers a chance to work with advanced equipment like GE Carescape Monitoring and Fuji ultrasound, all within a collaborative team dedicated to patient safety and excellence.
