Job Description:
This ICU travel assignment places you in a 11-bed unit with all private rooms, where you'll be responsible for supporting critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment. Your duties will include managing drips such as dopamine, epi, and nitro, interpreting tele monitor strips on Phillips equipment, and assisting with complex procedures involving chest tubes, art lines, and swan ganz catheters. The role calls for hands-on experience with open heart surgeries, general surgeries, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing vital support during some of the most critical hours, while collaborating with a team that includes charge nurses and intensivists on call. This assignment offers the chance to sharpen your skills in a specialized setting, with a focus on advanced patient monitoring and support for high-acuity cases—certainly a rewarding challenge for experienced ICU nurses who thrive on precision and teamwork.
