Job Description:

This stepdown neuro registered nurse position offers an engaging opportunity to work on a 48-bed unit that specializes in neurological and neurosurgical care. As part of your role, you will care for patients with conditions such as strokes, aneurysms, seizures, spinal fusions, brain and spinal cord tumors, and other neurological issues. Your day will involve managing up to five Med Surg patients, often with complex needs requiring vigilant monitoring, administration of drips, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. The setting features a mix of acuity levels, and you can expect to float among units like 4CS, 6 Neuro, and 8 Werner, providing variety and the chance to develop diverse skills. This contract includes options for 36 or 48 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts and opportunities to work weekends and major holidays. Prepare for an assignment that combines clinical expertise with the flexibility of floating within a specialized and fast-paced environment.
