Job Description:

Join a specialized Stepdown Neuro unit in Omaha for a 13-week contract as a Registered Nurse. This role involves caring for patients with neurological conditions such as strokes, aneurysms, seizures, spinal fusions, and brain tumors. You'll be working on a 48-bed unit that includes dedicated EEG monitoring beds. The position requires frequent floating within various units, including Neuro, Trauma, and medical-surgical floors, to meet staffing needs. Expect to manage multiple care levels, handle drips on all floors, and use Epic charting. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to experience a fast-paced, neuro-focused environment within a prominent academic medical center. Nurses should have a minimum of two years' experience in large, urban hospitals and be prepared for a challenging yet rewarding neuro-focused role.
