Job Description:

Join this CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) contract for a rewarding experience in a fast-paced cardiac care environment. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts, providing specialized care for adult and geriatric patients with complex cardiac conditions such as cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, heart failure, arrhythmias, and advanced therapies like LVAD and heart transplants. This role involves managing patients with mechanical support devices like Impella, IABP, and VAD, along with bedside procedures such as central line insertions, Swan-Ganz catheter placements, and targeted temperature management. The unit maintains a patient ratio of 1:1, with flexibility up to 3 patients for stable cases. Your evenings will be punctuated with moments of routine, critical interventions, and opportunities to work with sophisticated equipment in a vibrant setting that values your expertise. Two weekends off every other week and scheduled holidays ensure you get some time to unwind and explore.
