Job Description:

Join a highly specialized Neuro ICU team in Peoria, Illinois, for a 13-week travel assignment that puts your critical care skills directly to work. As a registered nurse, you'll be managing patients with complex neurological conditions, including strokes, post-craniectomy, and those requiring ventriculostomy or TPA. Your expertise in ventilator management, arterial and central lines, as well as stroke assessment, will be essential. This role offers the unique opportunity to lead titration of drips while collaborating closely with experienced charge nurses, house supervisors, and tele/monitor techs who read and interpret Phillips monitors. Expect twelve-hour night shifts with a dedicated team, floating to other hospital units as needed, ensuring every day brings a new challenge and chance to advance your skills. The unit's fast-paced environment is perfect for nurses confident in managing multiple high-acuity patients with a wide array of equipment from vents to high-flow oxygen devices.
