Job Description:

Join the Cardiac Renal Unit team as a Telemetry RN for a 13-week contract in Evansville, Indiana. This role involves working 12-hour day shifts in a high-acuity setting with a focus on cardiac and renal patient management. You will interpret 12-lead EKGs, initiate and titrate various drips, perform PIV insertions, and manage patients with conditions such as Afib with RVR, heart cath recoveries, CHF, COPD, and sepsis. The unit values experienced, quick-thinking travelers who can adapt to changing needs and contribute to a team that’s been together for years. As part of this assignment, you might float within skillsets to nearby campuses with just a two-hour notice, adding a bit of variety to your workday. Be prepared to handle complex cases and engage in educational activities like precepting students and new hires — your expertise will be essential in maintaining the unit’s excellent standards.
