Job Description:

This LTAC ICU Registered Nurse contract offers a hands-on role in a specialized setting where you'll be key in managing complex care situations. Expect to work 12-hour day shifts, providing critical support in a facility that emphasizes wound care, drain management, and advanced patient monitoring. Occasionally, you may be asked to join the "Emergency Team" to assist during urgent events, with details shared as needs arise. The role is perfect for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with a variety of procedures and patient ratios of 1:5 or 1:6. Epic experience and at least one year of prior LTAC experience are required, but first-time travelers are welcome. This assignment allows you to hone your skills and make a real difference in patient recovery, all while experiencing the unique rhythms of life in Jefferson, Louisiana.
