Job Description:

This ER Registered Nurse role at a busy hospital in North Kansas City offers a fast-paced environment where you'll be essential in providing critical care during 12-hour mids shifts. You'll work on Cerner, requiring precise charting and familiarity with the system, and will be responsible for managing urgent patient needs while collaborating with an experienced team. The assignment spans 13 weeks, giving you an opportunity to immerse yourself in a dynamic ER setting, handle a variety of emergent situations, and keep your skills sharp. Shift hours are from 2:45 PM to 3:15 AM, with every other weekend off and specific weekend commitments every other weekend, including nights on Fridays and Saturdays, plus 2 Sundays and 2 Mondays. The role emphasizes adherence to mandated certifications, including ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC, and requires passing an EKG exam with a score of 80% or higher on orientation day.
