Job Description:

This travel nursing assignment is based in Albany, GA, where you'll be working 12-hour day shifts for approximately 17 weeks. The role focuses on providing specialized care in a hospital setting with a 44-bed capacity and a staff of 40. You will handle a variety of acute care cases, floating across medical and cardiovascular units, and support the team with patient monitoring and?medication management. Certification in BLS and NIHSS (both AHA approved) is required, along with at least 2 years of recent experience in a relevant specialty and one prior travel assignment. Your duties will include working with EMR systems like Meditech and potentially supervising nurse aides, with nurse-to-patient ratios around 1:5, possibly 1:6. Expect to work every other weekend and as needed during holidays, adhering to a scrub color of Caribbean blue. The orientation includes a one-week general training period with EMR instruction, plus two days of floor-specific onboarding.
