Job Description:

Join a dedicated team of Radiation Therapists at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital in Winchester, VA, for a 13-week contract providing essential care to cancer patients. This role involves accurately delivering radiation treatments per physician prescriptions, coordinating with physicists and dosimetrists, and assisting during Brachytherapy procedures. Expect to prepare treatment rooms, set up patients for IMRT and 3-D procedures, and maintain rigorous safety and documentation standards. You will also support patients through pre-treatment explanations, answer questions, and monitor for reactions, all while ensuring radiation safety protocols are strictly followed. This assignment offers the opportunity to work closely with multidisciplinary teams in a facility that values precision and patient support in a pivotal oncology setting.
